Information we process
Account information. When you create an account, we store your email address, a securely hashed password, verification status, and session records.
Video and project content. Videos selected for export, project titles, crop settings, clip order, cuts, overlays, and optional caption audio are processed to produce the formats you request.
Service activity. We record operational events such as projects created or deleted, exports started, completed or failed, and downloads. These records help us operate the service, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and understand usage.
Device access. With your permission, the app can access the camera, microphone, and selected videos and can save completed videos to your photo library. These permissions are controlled in your device settings.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate accounts, verify email addresses, reset passwords, process and deliver video exports, generate optional captions, provide support, maintain security, monitor reliability, and improve VaryClip.
Temporary video retention
Uploaded source videos are temporary and normally expire about one hour after processing. Completed exports and temporary transcripts normally expire after six hours, and downloaded output may be deleted sooner. Cleanup may not be instantaneous. Copies saved to your device remain under your control.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare for hosting, storage, databases, video-processing infrastructure, operational services, and optional speech transcription. We use SendGrid to deliver email verification and password-reset messages. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only to service providers needed to run VaryClip, when required by law, or to protect users, the public, and our rights.
Security and retention
We use access controls, hashed credentials, expiring links, and limited retention for temporary media. Account and service activity records are retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.
Your choices and requests
You may control device permissions in system settings. You can permanently delete your account and associated cloud data inside VaryClip from Account & Privacy. Videos already saved to your device remain under your control. For access or correction requests, email mufutauramon02@gmail.com from your registered address.
Children
VaryClip is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as VaryClip changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
